Programs

Whole-person wellness, delivered with care and accountability.

Our programming is organized around the 8 Dimensions of Wellness and delivered through SAMHSA's Strategic Prevention Framework.

The 8 Dimensions of Wellness

Wellness is broader than the absence of illness. Each dimension gives us a practical way to design activities and talk about wellness in terms that feel relevant to daily life.

Physical

Physical and nutritional wellness programming, including activities connected to local community gardens and time outdoors.

Emotional

Mindfulness practices, healing circles, and Life Skills conversations that build coping strategies and normalize talking about mental health.

Social

Community dinners, outdoor outings, and holiday gatherings that build belonging and peer connection.

Intellectual

Education, facilitated discussion, and localized resource guides that expand what participants know and can act on.

Spiritual

Partnerships with faith leaders and programming that draws on cultural identity, gratitude, and purpose as sources of strength.

Occupational

Life skills development and youth leadership roles that build confidence, responsibility, and readiness for work.

Financial

Financial wellness workshops on budgeting that strengthen everyday money skills for youth and families.

Environmental

Safe, welcoming community spaces and time in nature that support a sense of security and calm.

The Strategic Prevention Framework

A five-step planning process used by prevention professionals nationwide. Here's how each step unfolds within a six-month engagement.

  1. 1

    Assessment

    Month 1

Community asset mapping in high-need neighborhoods, brief culturally tailored needs assessments at community events, and cross-referencing health data with field observations.

  2. 2

    Capacity Building

    Month 2

Aligning faith leaders, grassroots organizers, county health networks, and youth advocates; building warm referral pathways; training youth advocates and volunteers.

  3. 3

    Planning

    Months 2–3

Designing the healing circle curriculum, a calendar of 3–4 outreach activations per month, and resource directories mapped to the 8 Dimensions.

  4. 4

    Implementation

    Months 3–5

Facilitating healing circles, delivering pop-up workshops, launching youth-led collective spaces, and connecting participants to support.

  5. 5

    Evaluation

    Months 5–6

Monthly progress reports, tracking families linked to services, and a final impact report with recommendations.
